I've been restoring dollhouses since 2016. The turnaround timeframe depends on my workload as well as the availability of materials. I’ve done everything from minor cosmetic repairs to completely dismantling and reassembling, adding electricity, wallpaper, flooring, roofing and painting.
Cost
If you send me pictures, I can take a look and provide a rough estimate. Be sure to include any requests or details you know about that may not be apparent in the pics.
What to expect
If the estimate is acceptable you can either drop it off (just outside Boston, MA) or ship it to me along with a pre-paid return shipping label, and I’ll assess it and provide a detailed written estimate including labor and materials. Once we agree on the scope of work and materials, I’ll ask for a deposit by certified check and begin work. I don’t do any additional work unless agreed to in writing, so there are no surprises. I post progress pictures on a private page so you can see how it’s coming along.
